I investigate issues across finance, distribution, inventory and connected operational processes. This includes posting behavior, transaction data, reporting differences, multi-company and intercompany logic, integrations and custom code.

The work can cover general ledger, payables, receivables, bank reconciliation, sales and purchasing processes, inventory valuation, project accounting, manufacturing or service workflows, with the specific module scope agreed after assessment.

I maintain and extend GP solutions using Dexterity and sanScript, Modifier and VBA, Visual Studio Tools, C#/.NET, eConnect, GP Web Services and SQL Server.

For inherited customizations, I first inspect the available source, dictionaries, database objects, build process and deployment dependencies. That establishes what can be repaired, enhanced, documented or replaced safely.

I troubleshoot SmartConnect maps, SQL jobs, custom services and interfaces connecting GP to other applications. I trace the transaction from its source to the expected GP result, including validation, failed records, duplicates and reconciliation.

SQL work can include query analysis, stored procedures, reporting logic, blocking investigation and performance tuning. Data corrections are scoped and validated against application behavior and accounting requirements.

I help inventory customizations, third-party dependencies, reports and interfaces before an upgrade or server transition. If you are evaluating a new ERP, I can assess the GP side of migration readiness without assuming that an immediate replacement is the right answer.

Depending on the scope, the work can include diagnostic findings, a prioritized remediation plan, maintained or enhanced customizations, integration fixes, test results and support instructions. For an upgrade, it can include a dependency inventory and a release plan for your team to review.
